AutoCAD is a CAD (Computer Aided Design) software application for 2D and 3D design and drafting, developed and sold by Autodesk, Inc. AutoCAD currently runs exclusively on Microsoft desktop operating systems . To learn Autocad you will need the program, any version will do to get started. If you don't have the program, you can get the trial version. There are a lot of good places to get tutorials. There are some good video tutorials.
There are also great video tutorials .Both sites require you to buy a subscription to watch all the videos, but they let you watch a number of video tutorials for free. After you go through the free video tutorials, another great free resource is , they have a lot of informative tutorials going through the functions of the program. Good luck and be patient, there is always a learning curve with new programs but once you learn the basic functions and tools it can be a extremely powerful program.
