Join an AutoCAD User Group

Check with your college or university clubs and activities office. Many times there are on-campus AutoCAD groups within your educational community. These are great to utilize not only for user group companionship, but also to network about assignments and testing. Conduct a quick online search of AutoCAD memberships and clubs. There are many located all over the net and the United States. AutoCAD.EXE is just one of these groups that have meetings and other membership qualifications and advantages. Check out their website for more information on this particular AutoCAD user group.

Look in your local newspaper, phone book, library or call the local Chamber of Commerce. These are all resources for finding out the clubs and activities that are located within your community. If you are part of a small community that doesn't have such an organization, consider checking with the largest community in your area.

Check out the website of the AutoCAD program you have or use. Look for information on user groups or other networking opportunities for those registered with the same program you are using. Also, check the user guide you got with the program for resources and other possible user group information.
