Associatedcontent.com is another passive income writing site. Their article guidelines are less strict than eHow's and you don't need to be an American citizen to write for them. They make a straight payment of 1.50 USD for every 1000 views. Your going to have to get a lot of views to make 10,000 USD though.
Helium.com is another great site that will pay you for your online writing. Helium works by selling your submissions to third parties who can pay handsomely for them. If you are a passionate writer, Helium.com is probably the site for you. I've seen people create careers on Helium.com.
