Gently mix the mild soap and warm water together in a shallow dish until the soap disappears.
Before putting the diamond in water, check the prongs(the metal surrounding the diamond keeping it in its setting) to make sure that it is not loose. Lay the diamond on its side and leave 4 mins.
Gently brush the diamond with the tooth brush in the direction of the grain. Usually from girdle to table. Dry with soft cloth or sylvet cloth
